His publications include Shots Heard Round the World; Farewell to Foggy Bottom; and Anatomy of Diplomacy; and he contributed numerous articles and short stories to magazines such as Smart Set, Colliers, Readers Digest, Foreign Service Journal, and Saturday Evening Post.
