Gerry Hernbrode, the eldest of seven children, grew up amazed and entertained by her Father and his friends as they spun tales to outshine one another in Missoula, MT. Gerry brings that story telling heritage to her own writing. Following retirement from education, Gerry moved to the community of Portal in the Chiricahua mountains of Arizona with her beloved Corgi, Winston, where she devoted her time to writing, serving as an Emergency Medical Technician on Portal Rescue, a volunteer medical and fire-fighting entity and supporting community activities.
