This book aims to provide an introductory treatise on pseudo conharmonically symmetric manifolds. It is well known, symmetric spaces play an important role in differential geometry. This class of spaces contains many prominent examples which are of great importance for various branches of mathematics, like compact Lie groups, Grassmannians and bounded symmetric domains. Any symmetric space has its own special geometry; Euclidean, elliptic and hyperbolic geometry are only the very first examples. This principal has motivated our approach throughout the book. Our hope is that this book may serve as a natural point of departure for the study of the advanced treatises on this subject and, in some aspects of the subject, the periodical literature.
