Academic libraries are established to provide services to members of their immediate academic community. As such library and information managers in their drive for service delivery tend to lay emphasis on the provision of infrastructural facilities and information materials oblivious of the fact that the quality of job performance of library personnel determines the quality of services that are rendered. Presented in this book is the result of a research carried out on the effects of psycho-social factors on the job performance of library personnel in Federal Colleges of Education in Nigeria. This is a must read book for library and information practitioners as well as heads of organizations.
