Qualification work is devoted to the actual and little-studied topic - research of psychological aspects of the art of radio and television announcer. The paper substantiates the relevance of the research, its novelty, defines the goal and objectives of the work, gives a brief analysis of the scientific development of the problem. The work provides the complete systematization of scientific approaches to the problem of research, proposes the modified algorithm of practical techniques of the USSR announcers in improving the culture of pronunciation of modern television and radio hosts, as well as the search for the author's style of radio and television announcers in the communication of the XXI century. In this regard, the study has practical significance, which consists in the fact that presented methodological recommendations for the application of techniques and psychological techniques of the USSR announcer art in the work of modern television and radio presenters. The results obtained can find application in journalism, consultative psychological practice, on their basis practical classes with students of higher educational institutions, including in the format of distance education.
