Nowadays psychologists and educators are becoming more and more interested in the problem of creativity in educational activity. This is caused by the objective and socially understood role of a creative person and his/her self-realization, the need to develop a person's ability to overcome problems on the basis of certain approaches and solutions, to act productively relying on his/her educational potential. The monograph considers the problem of students' creativity ability development in the educational process, reveals the features of its dynamics, specifies socio-psychological factors of students' creativity ability development. The structure of psychological competence of a teacher in the development of students' creativity ability is analyzed, the methods and techniques of its diagnostics and development are determined. The results of the forming experiment allowing to check the principles and methods of psychological support of a teacher's competence in solving the problems of students' creative development are presented.
