Psychologists can play a vital role in the rehabilitation of persons with special needs. They can manage their emotional, psychological and behavioral problems. The author has developed A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for psychologists working in special schools. There are six areas have been explained in the SOP including, Assessment and Interpretation, Direct Intervention for Students, Consultation and Training,Program Development, Implementation of School, Psychology Programs, Communication and Relationship Skills.
