Autorenporträt
Karen B. Schmaling is a professor in the Department of Psychology at Washington State University. She has taught courses in psychology as a science, abnormal psychology, clinical skills, and oversees student internships. Dr. Schmaling holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Washington. Her research on depressive disorders, chronic illnesses, and other topics has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Science Foundation, and resulted in over 150 scientific articles, books, and book chapters.
