Dr. Yoshiko Arima is a professor at Kyoto University of Advanced Science, Faculty of Humanities, Department of Psychology. Yoshiko Arima received her B.A. degree from Graduate School of Human Sciences,Osaka University, Japan, in 1981 and her M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from School of Human Sciences, Osaka University, Japan, in 1983 and 2003, respectively. From 1985 to 1992, she was a technical officer of Osaka University, and from 1992 to 2000, an associate professor at Poole Gakuin University, Japan. Since 2000, she has been a professor at Kyoto University of Advanced Science, Kyoto, Japan. Her research interests are in Group Processes and Collective Intelligence. As an author and co-author, she published books, papers in Japanese and other international scientific journals. She has teaching experience in the Social Psychology field and working ability in statistics using SPSS and machine learning using MatLab.
