Dr. Wanjiru is lecturer, counselor and educational/psychological Assessor. She works in the School of Education at Mount Kenya University. She has PhD (Special Education, Mt. Kenya; Med, Guidance and Psychological Counselling, Kenyatta and Bed. Special Needs, from Makerere. She has initiated many special-children programmes in Embu County, Kenya.
