The present research aimed to determine the psychometric evidence of the child anxiety scale spence in adolescents from Nuevo Chimbote for which a sample of 330 adolescents from the city of Nuevo Chimbote from 11 to 17 years of age was used.As for the results obtained, the construct validity was established by means of the confirmatory factor analysis through the method of unweighted least squares (ULS), it was possible to reach a score in the absolute adjustment indexes of the GFI=.97, and SRMR=.060, in parallel the comparative adjustment by means of the normed adjustment index reached a score of .96 (NFI), and finally the parsimonious adjustment through the normed parsimony index reached .89 (PNFI). Also, construct validity is established through the item-test correlation, obtaining values ranging from .32 to .72, consolidating the validity of the scale. Reliability was determined through the internal consistency of the omega coefficient, providing values ranging from .67 to .88, therefore it is concluded that the scale is reliable and valid.
