The study was conceived with the purpose of establishing the psychosocial needs of children orphaned or affected by HIV/AIDS .The study also sought to establish the perception and knowledge of peers, guardians and other caretakers about the psychosocial needs of orphans. The study will be useful to policy makers and other organizations involved with orphans and vulnerable children.
