Oral health is the reflection of the overall general health. There exist a correlative relationship between the mind and the mouth. Oral cavity can clearly predict the state of mind. Oral mucosa is highly sensitive to psychological influences, to the extent that sometimes oral symptoms may be the first or only manifestation of a mental health problem.
