This book consists of a series of arguments from psychodynamic/psychoanalytic theory, with the aim of dealing clearly with the themes of psychosomatic disorders. This research work, for university students, on psychosomatization, the so-called psychosomatic illness, the relationship between body and brain, is presented here in the form of research questions, including the most singular one: doesn't every illness have a psychological side and a somatic reverse?Psychosomatization is a relationship between the psyche and the somatic. A relationship at birth, before birth, comprising the biological and the psychological. The psyche is relational in the same way as the somatic.
