The path to knowledge involves accepting the postulates of objectivity, ontology of reality and determinism of the social world, which implies that we must seek to discover external reality and the mechanisms that condition it. The process of creating knowledge involves understanding the meaning that actors give to reality. The aim is no longer to explain reality, but to understand it through the actors' interpretations of it. He thus develops an approach that takes into account the intentions, motivations, expectations, reasons and beliefs of stakeholders, and focuses less on facts than on practices. In addition, the knowledge path enables us to clearly distinguish between scientific and non-scientific knowledge. To this end, three criteria can be distinguished: verifiability, confirmability and refutability. Verifiability is based on the principle that a proposition is either analytic or synthetic, true by virtue of the definition of its own terms, or true, if this is the case,by virtue of practical experience.
