This book is based on critical analysis of healthcare partnerships between public and private sectors (PPPs). Additionally, a protocol of norms and standards was also developed and implemented in analysing two Jordanian PPPs. Generally, Health PPPs successfully provided high quality and cost-effective national health services, and internationally helped developing countries in fighting neglected diseases by mobilising further resources, assets and support. Also, in developing and producing new vaccines at low prices, and forming multiple diseases ventures. However, PPPs brought some unwelcomed side effects. The Jordanian PPPs were effective in supporting and enhancing women's health, enhancing quality of private sector health services, and reinforcing health system. The protocol was effective in assessing and evaluating current healthcare partnerships, and can be used in the planning process of future healthcare partnerships.
