The study investigated public practices for enhanced service delivery and Librarians' image in school libraries in Abia State, South east, Nigeria. The study covered the services offered to users of school libraries, importance of public relations to school libraries, public relations practices in school libraries, competencies required of the teacher librarians as PR officers, and strategies for enhancing service delivery and Librarians' image through public relations practices. The study adopted descriptive survey design and the population was teacher librarians of school libraries in Abia State. Questionnaire was the instrument used for data collection and data generated were analyzed using frequency tables and mean. It was discovered that the services that are offered in school libraries include lending services, provision of seating and study facilities, user education and referral services.
