Produktbeschreibung
This book sought to investigate how employees in an organization can influence Public Relations practice and the way an organization relates to them and the general public. Such organizations motivate their staff to change their behaviours and thinking so as to portray a positive image of the organization. They do this using persuasive methods of communication that companies employ to market products and services externally. The book also looks at the historical growth of public relations by tracing its origin to the spread of theatrical performances and circuses. The publicists at that time specialized in promoting public spectacles and are thought to be the predecessors of public relations. The book examines Public Relations practice in corporate organizations in Kenya today and notes how indispensable it is as a management tool. Just like organizations in Europe and USA, incorporation of Public Relations is crucial in portraying a positive image of an organization.
