I've loved writing since I first knew how - as a kid, I wrote short stories; as a teenager, letters and poems; and now? A bit of everything, I'd say. Stories have always been one of my favorite ways to learn, but also to express my perspective. Just as letters remain my favorite way to stay connected with the people who are far away. Life as a stage can be comforting when you're in familiar plays. But for me, Ive embraced the fact that I'll sometimes stumble onto unfamiliar stages and that's okay. I'll simply play my part as authentically as possible. Puck's Fortune Cookies plays with the idea that its okay to take on ever-changing roles in life, with the optimistic belief that - no matter the script - it is still our freedom to live and shape our lives.
