Born and raised in the South, Melanie Colleton resides in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, where she found much of her inspiration for her first book, "Pumkin's Plan". And her subsequent books, she plans to continue sharing her challenging life's a journey with mental illness and family trauma. Despite being labeled as "the most likely to be unsuccessful" by her family, Melanie hope to use her creativity to become an accomplished author.
