Autorenporträt
John Reid was born in Dundee, Scotland and, after serving in the British Army, embarked upon a career working in several different fields. He finally retired after being Managing Director of a large international data business. John now works full-time as a writer. He divides his time between Scotland and Portugal and enjoys a game of golf when not writing. His first book, The Forgotten Gun, was published in 2021. Since then, John has become a prolific writer with eight books in the DCI Steve Burt murder mystery series already published. He is now working on a new trilogy detailing different and new characters centred around a detective sergeant based in Dundee, Scotland.
