Autorenporträt
Bardi McLennan is the author of many books on dogs, including only the second complete history ever written about her own breed, the Welsh Terrier (""The Welsh Terrier Leads the Way""). She has written books on other breeds, including four since 2000 that have been published in Europe. For fifteen years Bardi was a contributing editor to ""Dog Fancy"" magazine, and has written feature articles for the ""AKC Gazette"" and all major canine publications, as well as for many trade magazines in the pet industry. She has received the Kal Kan Pedigree Award for outstanding journalism on pet care, plus several awards from the Dog Writers Association of America, where she's been an active member since 1986. No longer involved in breeding and showing her own dogs, Bardi has recently judged a Kerry Blue Terrier Sweepstakes and an Irish Terrier Sweepstakes.
