Marred by a violent relationship with her abusive husband-manager, Chuck Traynor, she developed the persona of a twenty-four-hour-a-day sex star. Jared Stearns is a San Francisco-based writer. He has written about Marilyn Chambers for publications including Cineaste, The Dark Side, and The San Franciscan. His work has also appeared in The Boston Globe and the San Francisco Chronicle. He is a graduate of Emerson College in Boston and has worked in B2B marketing for more than fifteen years. This is his first book.
