Hallie Kay Yopp, Ph.D., Professor of Elementary and Bilingual Education at California State University, Fullerton, co-directs the 23-campus system's Center for the Advancement of Reading and is an inductee into the California Reading Hall of Fame. Ruth Helen Yopp, Ph.D., Professor of Elementary and Bilingual Education at California State University, Fullerton, has co-authored several books, has numerous publications in professional journals, and was inducted into the California Reading Hall of Fame in 2000 in recognition of her contributions to literacy.
