Nitrogen containing heterocyclic compounds and their derivatives have historically been invaluable as a source of therapeutics agents. Pyrazole with two nitrogen atoms and aromatic nature provides diverse functionality and stereochemical complexity in a five membered ring structure. Viewing the significance of pyrazole in countless areas, particularly in medicinal chemistry, the present work focuses on the synthesis of diverse pyrazole derivatives, reactions and its pharmacological significance. We hope that this work will promote the use of pyrazole scaffold and should help in designing new pyrazoles in medicinal chemistry.
