About the Author and Illustrator Sister-and-brother team Marta Magellan and Mauro Magellan started to work together after having published separately for many years. Marta Magellan¿s interest in wildlife and nature has produced several nonfiction books on animals for children. Mauro Magellan is an illustrator, graphic artist, and musician who has illustrated children¿s books as well as nonfiction for adults. Marta lives in Miami, Florida, and Mauro lives with his family in Monroe, Wisconsin.
