High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Qingdao Jonoon is a football (soccer) club playing at the Qingdao Tiantai Stadium in Qingdao, China. The head coach is Serbian Dragan Jovanovic. The predecessor of Qingdao Jonoon was the Shandong economic and trade commission FC founded in 1990, the club realized professionalism in 1993 & renamed as Qingdao Hainiu. After eight years as owners of the club, state-run tobacco producers Qingdao Etsong Group ( ) agreed to sell Qingdao Etsong FC to privately-owned cable manufacturers Qingdao Jonoon Group in December 2004. The club has competed in the Chinese Super League since its creation in 2004, and finished second from bottom (11th of 12) in the first season, but climbed to 7th in the expanded division of 14 teams in the second season. They continue to play in the 2006 season. In season 2007 and 2008, they both finished 7th.
