This book generally discloses the truth behind the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Program in the Philippines. For one, it has become instrumental in improving the social and economic condition of the beneficiaries. It has likewise helped them send their children to school and provide them their school requirements. Consequently, most of the beneficiaries' children have finished schooling with academic achievements. On the other hand, there are some beneficiaries who have misused and abused the privileges which are given them. Although they are aware of the requirements of the program, still some have despised them. They have pawned their ATM card to a lending private agency in their local community for their personal concerns. Others have diverted the fund to buying appliances. For this, responsible agencies such as DEPED and DSWD of the government may consider conducting close surveillance of the beneficiaries and implement necessary actions to address any concern.
