Produktbeschreibung
The present work is part of the evaluation of the quality of Cotrimoxazole tablets sold in the city of Bukavu, in the case of the commune of Kadutu, the main goal being to warn the population of the eminent danger that is threatening them and to contribute to the fight against the proliferation of counterfeit medicines. To carry out this work, we started from the hypothesis that some cotrimoxazoles sold in the commune of Kadutu would be of inferior quality. The different parameters were evaluated at the UOB laboratory, based on the GHPF book, the standard method of the European pharmacopoeia, but also in accordance with the theoretical notions of the courses of galenic pharmacy and analysis of medicines. After the analysis of the different parameters, all the tests were positive, except for the mass uniformity test, where the results of some samples did not comply with the European Pharmacopoeia standards. These cases may be due either to minor handling errors in the drug analysis laboratory or to the pharmaceutical companies during preparation.
