The presented research is significant and relevant as a comparative analysis of Russian and foreign teaching experience. Having carried out the analysis, we have established that the system of quality assessment of higher education in Omsk State Pedagogical University (Russia) in many respects (structures responsible for the quality of higher education, the criteria base, audit procedures in a foreign university (MUBS, USA) and quality management system in Omsk State Pedagogical University) is similar to the foreign system of quality assessment of education. It testifies to the adaptation of the western model on Russian soil. At present, the sphere of higher education in Russia is being modernized to create a public and state system of quality assurance of specialists training and integration of Russian higher education into the world scientific and educational system. Thus, the features of foreign systems of quality assessment of higher education reflected in this monograph will be useful and can be taken into account when improving the similar Russian system of quality assessment and developing the next generation of state educational standards of higher education.
