Produktbeschreibung
The present work focused on the quality control of tablets based on acetylsalicylic acid 500mg found on the market of the city of Bukavu. This work has conditioned the use of the methods of GPHF 2008, Clarke index 1971, British pharmacopoeia 2007, of the European Pharmacopoeia 2002 and USP, but also in conformity with the theoretical notions of the courses of galenic pharmacy and analysis of the drugs for the evaluation of the characteristics of the acetylsalicylic acid; of the linearity of the method used; of the labels; of the uniformity of mass; of the hardness, friability, disintegration and dissolution. After the analysis of all the samples and the raw material, it was found that all these parameters met the specific requirements. Nevertheless, the mass uniformity test confirms that none of our samples deviate from the average weight by more than ± 5% which means that the test meets the mass uniformity requirements according to the European Pharmacopoeia. In addition to these results, organoleptic examination of the labels showed that the majority of acetylsalicylic acid tablets on sale in Bukavu are of Asian origin (China).
