Chapter 4 explains designing for quality, it covers concurrent engineering, quality function deployment and failure mode & effect analysis. Chapter 5 describes design of experiments, it covers introduction of DOE & taguchi approach, achieving robust design, steps in experimental design. Chapter 6 describes about JIT, lean manufacturing, agile manufacturing, world class manufacturing, TPM, benchmarking, BPR & six sigma. Chapter 7 describes quality in service sectors.
