For this purpose, this manual is prepared and describes the general quality assurance principles and used as a guideline for performing laboratory tests and quality control procedures, in microbiology laboratory.In order to make it sound, standard (at international level), it is prepared by using standard quality control guidelines as a reference; like NMKL, ISO/IEC 17025, FDA, EA-04/10, Dansk standard (DS/EN ISO/IEC 17025).In, general, this standard manual summarizes the general laboratory routines and principles, all the necessary procedures and requirements starting from food sampling to final result reporting and interpretation.

I have MSc degree in Microbiology. I have been working as Assistant Researcher at Ethiopian Health and Nutrition Research Institute starting from October, 2011- up to now.
