Autorenporträt
Dr. Paul A. Rivera, is Executive Director, of PAR Enterprises, Inc. - a Stamford based Human Resources/Benefits/Insurance Consulting Practice, Licensed in CT, NY and FL. He received his Doctorate in Finance from Pace University, an MBA, cum laude, from Pace and an Electrical/Computer Engineering Degree from Manhattan College. Formerly he was a Director of Benefits with American Brands, Inc, and for 25 years prior had domestic and international management responsibilities with Xerox Corporation and GTE, International, Inc. At Xerox he directed the design and implementation of state of the art qualified and executive non-qualified compensation & benefit plans as well as developing a financial health care model that served as the basis for National Health Care Reform inthe 1990's. Dr. Rivera has been an adjunct professor since 1978 in the areas of Benefits Management, Insurance Planning, Financial Planning and Human Resources Management. He is a former member of the Board Of Examiners and test item writer for the International Board of Certified Financial Planning and has been the past chairman of the America's Computer Manufacturer's Compensation Group as well as a trustee of the Council on Employee Benefits and a Director of the New York State Advisory Council on Employment Law. He is a member of the Fairfield, CT Board of Realtors and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. Dr. Rivera is author of various publications including Quality Measurement Techniques For Human Resource Management and is co-author of the 401(k) Hand Book by Prentice Hall.
