Stroke constitutes a real public health problem, given its morbidity and mortality, its cost and its physical, psychological and social consequences. In this perspective, a descriptive qualitative study carried on a sample of 43 patients; who consulted at the level of the day clinic (Day Clinic Ihchach - Regional Hospital Center Souss Massa); was conducted during the period from 11/10/2017 to 28/11/2017.The data were collected via the exploitation of the Duncan et Al QOL measurement scale: Stroke Impact Scale version 3.0, whose metric qualities have been proven and validated. The results showed an overall low quality of life, specifically in the domains of mobility, memory, emotion, daily activities, and social and family integration.Quality of life is a multidimensional concept that incorporates, in addition to physical health, the emotional and social aspects of the disease, which contributes to a better understanding of the real needs of patients for quality nursing care.
