Dick Willan was the beloved father and grandfather of a large family, living in a home that he built alongside the largest recreational lake in Cape Town, South Africa. Four decades after his death, two folders of typewritten manuscripts were found by one of his grand-daughters among the possessions of her late mother. They proved to be a large collection of poems that were written by the patriarch of the family, on a wide range of subjects. This book comprises that collection of poems and has been produced by the grand-children of Dick and Kath Willan, in memory of their beloved grandparents.
