Produktbeschreibung
Quinazoline derivatives are of special importance because of their versatile biological and pharmacological activities especially anti-inflammatory, anticonvulsant, hypnotic, anthelmentic, hypotensive, antibacterial agents etc. Microwave irradiation using scientific ovens has been rapidly increased for the variety of reactions such as synthesis of heterocycles due to reduction in reaction time, improved energy utilization, potential for lower processing temperature and improved product uniformity. Alkylation & condensations are carried out with the said technique successfully in the present work. The synthesis of number of different quinazoline derivatives has been successfully carried out with the said technique. The structures were confirmed on the basis of IR and PMR spectral data. The structural formulae when subjected to computer programme PASS, prediction results are obtained for the synthesized compounds. This has been reported in the present book. The content in the booksis highly significant for the researchers and students of synthetic organic chemistry, heterocyclic, pharmaceutical, medicinal chemistry as well as computational and combinatorial chemistry.
