Vijay Patil however continued with the name, as he had great success in '90s with Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), changed the spelling to "Raamlaxman". He has composed several hit songs in Hindi and Marathi. Raamlaxman has made almost 75 films in Hindi, Marathi and Bhojpuri.
