Autorenporträt
Rachel was born in 1985 into a large family in Queens where she lived with her two brothers and paternal grandparents. Her last name reveals Italian origins, and her great-grandparents moved from beautiful Naples to the USA after the birth of her grandfather, Ciro, in the early 1900s.As a child, she always cooked many tasty but high-calorie dishes with her grandmother, so reached a weight of almost 150 pounds at only 14 years old.She realized this would not work and began to study various types of diets, most of the time with little success. She would lose weight but then regain it.After reading up on it, Rachel realized she had to feed herself better, learning what and how much to eat to avoid gaining weight and keep her weight stable. She also began to schedule physical activity sessions, a habit she's maintained to this day: gymnastics and weights at home, and walks outdoors whenever possible. From this, she's been trying to help as many people as possible control their weight by teaching them to change their old eating approach, choosing meals based on their goals and genetics. The trick is to have a specific diet program that includes a balanced diet. She's recently written a few books to help even those who can't reach her in person. In these books, she's collected all the secrets for healthy nutrition. You'll find a lot of easy and inexpensive recipes within everyone's reach.Rachel still lives in Queens with her husband and her beautiful teenage daughters. They've embraced their mother's healthy lifestyle for psychophysical balance, which is very important at any age.
