In some cases, this has led to violence instigated by newer ethnic groups, and in some cases, racial violence between non anglo Australian ethnic groups. Racial violence also exists on a street level, with race based violence between different ethnic gangs. To a degree, racial violence has been exacerbated by the media and Politicians.
