As Wodak(2002) states CDA with the goal of change, chooses the perspective of those who suffer and analyze the way language is used by those who are in power and those who create the inequalities. The present research is an attempt to criticize the Persian translation of race-related lexico-grammatical items in the English novel "The Help" in the framework of CDA. The findings and results of this research may be useful for translators of both English and Persian. It may also have outcome in translator training courses to raise Student's awareness to the importance of language role in socio-culutral contexts as well as the impact of textual choices of the translators in the process of translation.
