Radcliffe Railway Station is on the Nottingham/Grantham mainline 8 km (5 miles) east of Nottingham, connecting the village of Radcliffe on Trent to such places to Nottingham, Grantham, Boston and Skegness. Radcliffe station has remained open, where a lot of Nottinghamshire railway stations have closed over the years. It is located on the line first opened by the Ambergate, Nottingham, Boston and Eastern Junction Railway in 1850 and taken over by the Great Northern Railway.
