Alírio Soares Boaventura is a senior research scientist at Maybell Quantum Industries in Denver, Colorado, and worked previously as a research scientist for over five years at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, Colorado. He is the recipient of an IEEE MTT-S graduate fellowship award, co-recipient of the 2011 URSI-Portugal/ANACOM Prize, and was featured in the publication University of Aveiro, 40 Years, 40 Inventors, 40 Entrepreneurs.
