The county covers an area of 1,442.78 square kilometres (557.1 sq mi). As of 2006 its total population is 118,856, out of which the population of Radomsko is 49,152, that of Przedbórz is 3,758, that of Kamie sk is 2,858, and the rural population is 63,088.
