He is known for his war and conflict photography, with his most prominent pictures from terror attacks from Palestinian Qassam rockets on civilians in southern Israel during the 2008 2009 Israel Gaza conflict. Rafael Ben-Ari has shown his photography in personal and collective exhibitions worldwide, including Australia, New Zealand and France.
