She served as Assistant Secretary General for the United Nations (UN) Human Resource Management from 1997 to 2002, Assistant Governor of Bank Negara (1995-1997) and Human Resource General Manager with Malayan Banking Berhad (1991-1995). She is now the Director of The NAM Institute for the Empowerment of Women.
