Ever since he enjoyed the activities of the cub scouts as a youngster he has spent his leisure hours walking the hills and dales of the UK and abroad and in doing so tried to get a taste of those incredible journeys made by many an explorer of the past. Mick has also published books on his second favourite hobby of woodcarving.
