I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and at the age of seven we moved to California. Early years were spent at Ramona Convent boarding school in the Los Angeles area. My interest in writing grew and I took several creative writing courses at Foothill Collefe in the Bay Area. While attending college I met my husband he was born and raised in San Francisco. I have two beautiful daughters both born in the Bay Area. My family and I currently live in Carmichael, California just outside Sacramento where I continue to write children's books.
