Each of us is way more powerful, way more competent, and way more able to affect the course of events in our lives than we consciously acknowledge. Each of us is way more powerful, way more competent, and way more able to affect the course of events in our lives than we consciously acknowledge. We are all temporarily locked into a vicious circle of disempowering thoughts and feelings, and thus constantly hypnotizing ourselves into believing that we are not able to rise to meet, and successfully handle, any challenge that presents itself to us. We need to illuminate those disempowering thoughts and feelings, we need to objectively reality-test them, and we need to then choose a different and better way to handle the crisis or serious problem in which we are now engulfed. When we change ourselves and our attitudes, the situation around us will naturally change as well. Every crisis or serious problem is a situation where a change must now be made, but we are in some way blocking and resisting that important change. This self-help workbook empowers readers to go through a self-transformation process which enables the necessary changes to then be made. Using affirmations, brief inspirational messages, illustrative stories, and practical self-reflections, the reader is supported in quickly shifting who they are being, so as to then bring about the positive change that the truth now requires. "I felt stuck, and working with the Rapid Crisis Resolution book, I made two major decisions to move toward "wholeness" in my life. By major, I mean decisions that I have not had the consciousness and courage to take on for nearly 30 years. So, I am feeling a lot of gratitude for having identified the areas that needed work, thanks to your extraordinary book. I will probably read it several times -- but I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for having written this." -- B.L., management consultant
Autorenporträt
Charles Cresson Wood is a personal coach, management consultant, and attorney. He has written and published over 370 articles and eight other books. His books include the personal transformation self-help workbook entitled Opening To Abundance (Pathwork Press, 2004). In the world of business, he wrestles with the difficult problems associated with information security and privacy. In the world of human relations, he supports coaching clients to change their attitudes, and then go on to successfully navigate the real-life complexities of personal crises. For years, Charles worked with alternative health practitioners to heal from near-fatal toxic-chemical-exposure-induced liver failure. Through the process covered by this book, he healed, turned his life around, and went on to complete law school with honors when in his 60s. His experience illustrates how we all can break the chains of self-imposed limitations, and then go on to make the big change that we don't now believe we are capable of successfully managing.
