Autorenporträt
T. Eric Monroe's body of work features rare images and moments from the 90's, chronicling the intertwining worlds of Hip-hop, Skateboarding, and Hardcore (Punk). During the 80's, Monroe skated and dabbled in photography, and by the early 90's, he got serious and found a way to make a living using photography. Some of Monroe's images have been shared in publications like Thrasher Magazine, The Source, XXL, Transworld Skateboarding Magazine, along with international publications. He has licensed content for documentaries and television - all at a time prior to digital photography and the convenience and ease of the internet. Because of the chaos of the time - during the 90's - photographs that were not chosen by magazines or record labels went into the archive and sat for years. Recently, Monroe got the thought: "Enough is enough, time to share the images and moments with the world!" www.tdoteric.com
